WATCH NOW - The 2013 Gift of Sight Expedition
From May 15-29, 2013, an expedition of ophthalmologists and eye care professionals sponsored by Dooley Intermed International provided free eye examinations, eyeglasses and cataract surgeries to an estimated 700 villagers in the remote Mustang region of Nepal. This is their story as told by documentary filmmaker Daniel A. Byers of Skyship Films.
Dooley Intermed International is dedicated to providing crucial assistance to those who lie beyond the reach of traditional healthcare.
We help homeless children, widows, mothers, and refugees in some of the most impoverished areas of the world. What we do is quite basic; helping orphans and refugees, preventing disease, providing education, maternal and childcare, and combating blindness through our Gift of Sight programs.
