Dooley Intermed International is dedicated to providing crucial assistance to those who lie beyond the reach of traditional healthcare. We help homeless children, widows, mothers, and refugees in some of the most impoverished areas of the world. What we do is quite basic; helping orphans and refugees, preventing disease, providing education, maternal and childcare, and combating blindness through our Gift of Sight programs.

Dooley-Intermed Foundation is a non-profit, non-governmental, non-sectarian, non-political, private voluntary organization receiving its financial support entirely from private contributions and grants. We neither seek nor accept government grants or contracts.

“To treat illness in those who are sick
and to prevent illness in those who are well”

“We wish to take care of people who are sick, in areas where they have little or no chance of receiving medical aid.  What we want to do is a job in simple therapeutic medicine. We actually believe that we can win the friendship only by working beside them on equal terms, humans-to-humans, towards goals that they understand and seek themselves. Our program is a person-to-person, heart-to-heart program. It will aid those who are sick and by that simple act it will win friendship for America.” – Dr. Tom Dooley
